phoenix4.10和phoenix4.9版本冲突问题

背景

公司很多业务用到phoenix。目前我们使用的版本是phoenix4.9;spark版本是1.6.3;

最近打算升级spark到最新的2.1版本,但是现有的phoenix4.9不支持spark2.*;无奈只能升级phoenix;

升级

按照官网的文档;首先编译了自己hbase版本的包;然后按照下面的方式升级phoenix:

  • Add the phoenix-[version]-server.jar to the classpath of all HBase region server and master and remove any previous version. An easy way to do this is to copy it into the HBase lib directory (use phoenix-core-[version].jar for Phoenix 3.x)
  • Restart HBase.
  • Add the phoenix-[version]-client.jar to the classpath of any Phoenix client.

报错

升级完成后;使用4.10的client创建了一个表;写入的时候用了4.9的client;再查询表的时候报了如下的错误:

查找代码看了半天,感觉是4.9的字段序列化方式跟4.10的序列化方式不一样;导致4.10的client客户端无法查询4.9的客户端写入的数据;

解决方式:

1、删掉表;用4.9的客户端建表;继续用4.9客户端写入;4.10读取是正常的;
2、删掉表,用4.10的客户端建表,用4.10的客户端写入数据;数据是正常的;

总结:

phoenix4.10的表,在建表和写入数据的时候,要保证client是一致的;否则容易报错;
官方也是说了在升级的最后一步:Add the phoenix-[version]-client.jar to the classpath of any Phoenix client.
