Goal

Q1: We are upgrading our 11.5.10.2 instance of Apps to R12 and wecurrently use Oracle Energy Extensions, how to install the Energyextensions in R12?

Q2: Because of these Product tops that are no longer used I get amessage on my way into adadmin.

Here are the messages I get when I run adadmin:
AD Administration warning:
Product Data File
/u01/app/app2r12b/apps/apps_st/appl/admin/zfaprod.txt
does not exist for product "zfa".
This product is registered in the database but the
above file does not exist in APPL_TOP. The product
will be ignored without error.

Solution

A1: In R12, Energy asset section is part of the regular 12.0installation, you have the function when you install the regularR12, and you don't have to install the Energy solution separatelylike you did for 11i.

The detailed information can be found in the Assets User Guide page11-106 about "Energy Assets".

A2: All products not in the applprod.txt but exist in the databasewill raise the warning you mention unless they're cleaned up. Youcan safely ignore these warnings. The existence of these thingswill not hurt anything.
