[VB.NET]Lable绑定Calendar

Lable绑定Calendar
我先建立一个Lable
然后将它的AssociatedControlID属性设置为：
Calendar1(为一新建的Calendar的ID)
就相当于将calendar绑定到lable上
然后有用：
Lable.Text = Calendar1.SelectedDate.Date.toShortString
可是运行的时候在Lable中并不显示Calendar1所选的日期
怎么回事？
那里出错了？？？
