winxp sp2环境下安装visual c++ 6.0 中文企业板碰到的问题

Hi All,

I am trying to install Visual Studio 6.0 on a fresh Windows XP Professional SP2 machine with all the latest windows update. As soon as I start installation by clicking on SetUp.EXE I get a error message setup cannot continue and crash and send error report to MS dialog box.

Please help me to solve this problem

Update: I find this:

"Actually this is a very common issue with this product and XP for unknown
reasons. I spent a lot of time searching the internet for the solution and
here is what I found that actually worked!

Manually start setup:

X:/SETUP/ACMSETUP.EXE /T VS98Ent.STF /S X:/ /n "" /o "" /k "YYYYYYYYYY" /b1
X=cd drive letter and YYYYYYYYY=cd key.

If you receive the following message "You must first run the Installation
Wizard"
Update the Registry using a .reg file (copy paste the below text into a
notepad file and name it with .reg) with the following then rerun the above
command:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/VisualStudio]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/VisualStudio/6.0]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/VisualStudio/6.0/Setup]

评论:按照这种办法的确解决了问题.不过,又有一个新的问题:vc6.0安装不上,提示“javasign.dll不能在系统注册数据库中注册”。
