Dear Sir/Madam,

 

I’m writing to express my dissatisfaction with the local airport about their expansion plan. It takes twenty-minute walk from the airport to my house. I’m afraid the expansion of the airport and the increase of flights will cause serious problems to the residential area.

 

On one hand, we have already suffered from the takeoff and landing noise of the airplane. How can we put up with the frequent noise if there are more flights? On the other hand, the expansion of the airport will reduce the distance between the airport and the residential area, which will make the existing noise pollution even more worse. The reconstruction may also cause dust problems.

 

I shall appreciate it very much if you could take this matter into consideration and publish articles to reveal this problem and express the disagreement of the residents. Look forward to your reply.
