Solution：Unable to install CSD for WebSphere® MQ v5.3. Files in use!

 CauseDLL's locked by non-MQ processes  SolutionTo perform an install of a CSD for WebSphere MQ v5.3 for Windows®

1. Download the CSD from the web
2. Run the install program and note the temporary folder to which the install files are being extracted This will usually be something like: C:/Program Files/IBM/Source/WebSphere MQ CSD##EnUs'
3. Exit the CSD install process
4. Once the CSD file is saved in your work station, extract them to a folder of your choice (for example: C:/CSD)
5. In C:/CSD folder, you should see many other folders and a couple of files
6. Among those files, there should be the amqicsdn.exe file
7. Open the Command Prompt window, and run the following:
   amqicsdn MQPINUSEOK=1. This setting allows the install to continue even if we find that files are in use.
8. The window with the progress indicator of the CSD install should pop up and the CSD installation should complete without being interrupted.

To perform an uninstall of a CSD for WebSphere MQ v5.3 for Windows, do the following:

Use the Command Prompt window instead, switch to the latest CSD directory then run the following command:

amqicsdn MQPUNINST=1 MQPINUSEOK=1
