Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smith,

 

I’m your new neighbor. My family and I moved into the flat last week. We are planning to hold a party to celebrate our moving in, and we will invite lots of friends to come. I’m wondering if you and your family would come to the party in my flat this Saturday afternoon.

 

The party will star at tea-time when our guests come and enjoy tea and pastries on the terrace. In the evening, all the guests will be seated at the dining table for dinner. I will cook all the meals with the help of some friends. There will be a cocktail party at night when our guests could have a drink and enjoy themselves.

 

Would you please drop me a line to let me know if you could come? My family and I would feel honored if you could come.
