norton ghost在"Checking NTFS volume"时死机的解决办法

Norton Ghost™ stops responding at the message "Checking NTFS volume"

Situation:
While creating an image of an NTFS partition, the computer boots to the virtual partition, but the DOS Ghost executable stops responding at "Checking NTFS volume."

Solution:
This problem can be resolved by doing the following:

1. Launch Ghost.
2. Click "Ghost Basic" in the left-hand pane, then click "Backup" in the right-hand pane. The Backup Wizard appears.
3. Click Next.
4. Select the Source and Destination, then click Next.
5. Enter the file name or location, then click Next.
6. Click the Advanced Settings button.
7. Select the "Ghost Command Line" tab.
8. In the "Additional options. . . " field, type the following:
   
   -NTC-
   
9. Follow the prompts to complete the wizard and execute the task.

If the error message continues to occur, you may need to defragment you hard drive.
