tomcat欢迎页面打不开

OS:Ubuntu9.10

Tomcat:v6.0.20

现象：tomcat启动后，那个http://localhost:8080的欢迎页面打不开，页面显示“HTTPStatus

404”。

尝试1：可能8080端口被占用了。所以将server.xml中的端口改为8888，但是问题依旧。

尝试2：在Termial中输入“sudoupdate-alternatives --config javac”后，

输出如下：

不知道“automode”和“manualmode”是什么意思！但改为“automode”后，问题就解决了。

再次输入“sudoupdate-alternatives --config javac”后，

输出如下：

Thereis only one alternative in link group javac:/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/bin/javac

Nothingto configure.
