ubuntu忘记密码的解决办法

ubuntu忘记密码或者密码修改坏了怎么解决恢复
1.如果安装的ubuntu单系统,那么开机时按"ESC",进入menu选择菜单
2.如果安装的是混合系统,那么可以直接使用grub,进入menu选择菜单

ubunt 8.04.1, kernel 2.6.24-19-generic
ubunt 8.04.1, kernel 2.6.24-19-generic (recovery mode)
ubunt 8.04.1, MeMtest86+

 

然后选择"ubunt 8.04.1, kernel 2.6.24-19-generic (recovery mode)"

 

resume resume normal boot
dpkg    repair broken packages
root    drop to root shell prompt
xfix    try to fix x server

 

然后选择"root    drop to root shell prompt"

然后就提示：

root@gliethttp:~#

于是可以使用passwd生成新密码了.
root@gliethttp:~# passwd luther
Enter new UNIX password:
Retype new UNIX password:
passwd: password updated successfully
root@gliethttp:~#
