windows 下SQL1220N的解决方法

在windows xp下，DB不能启动实例。运行db2start,报以下错误：

 

DB2 : The service has returned a service-specific error code.

SQL1220N  The database manager shared memory set cannot be allocated.

 

在IBM官网会有记录这个错误，解决方法很简单，

 

Set INSTANCE_MEMORY to AUTOMATIC by issuing the following from a DB2 Command Window:

db2 update dbm cfg using INSTANCE_MEMORY AUTOMATIC

Re-attempt to start your instance.
