Joomla初学—joomla背景和优势（1）

接触Joomla只有几个月的时间，现在谈下自己在玩Joomla的一点点心得，也做下总结。

目的有两个：1、自己积累沉淀。2、分享。

开始之前BlueSnailler想说下我的个人习惯，文中有很多英文引用，这些都是来自官方或者比较可信的网站，BlueSnailler只是想给大家保持原汁原味的东西，文的下面是翻译，不精确的地方还远大家原谅我哦！

1、谈下Joomla是什么吧？

下面看下官方的定义：

Joomla is an award-winning content management system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have made Joomla the most popular Web site software available. Best of all, Joomla is an open source solution that is freely available to everyone.

Joomla是一个获奖的优秀的内容管理系统（CMS），你可以使用它进行建站和并提供强大的在线应用。很多方面，它包含很多易用性和扩展，已经作为流行的站点建设工具使用。最重要的是，Joomla是一个开源平台可以供任何人免费使用。

ok，我们可以总结了什么是Joomla？

Joomla是一个开源平台下的web site工具，它提供强大的内容管理系统（connent management system CMS）和在线应用。

截止的最高版本是（截止目前：2010年8月23日）：Vesion1.6 beta 8 available。建议使用：vesion 1.5.x（20）版本。

官方：This is the eighth in our series of continuous beta releases. Beta 9 will be released on September 6, 2010.这句换告我们2010年9月6日将发布vesion1.6.9 beta版本。我们拭目以待吧……（注释：vesion1.5.X全部支持汉化版本：CH-ZH、CH-TW，v1.6前几个版本也有汉化，感兴趣的可以自己找下。）

我们只要明白一下几点就可以了：

1、开源  2、CMS内容管理系统 3、强大的在线扩展和应用。

开源说明free和自我的代码更变；CMS说明web site只需考虑具体内容，格式在Joomla模板中体现，这样设计网站才能更加强调内容，以便于网站的SEO（搜索引擎优化）；扩展和应用说明在网站设计中可以使用部分付费和免费的扩展工具进行很好的内容管理。这也是和之前网站开发工具不同的地方，也是其优势所在！

开源和扩展大家可能不难理解，但是对于刚接触的朋友来说，可能对于CMS有点陌生，现在BlusSnailler就给大家简单介绍一下。

一个内容管理系统CMS保持对网站每一条内容的跟踪，很像你本地的图书馆对书籍和储存条目的管理。内容可以是简单文本、图片、视屏、文档或者你喜欢的任何东西。CMS一个最大的用电是不许要你太多的技术技巧和只是，应为CMS管理器已经管理了你全部的内容。

简单分析一下：

jooma中强调对内容的管理，对CSS和一些格式的东西作为web site设计者你可以不必去理会，原因是Joomla已经给你做好了一切，并且可以供你选择，你只要着眼于对内容的编辑就OK了。BlueSnailler想对大家说，说CMS像是图书馆对书籍的管理，这个比较恰当。Joomla支持多中扩展插件，比如说主用用于电子商务的K2、编辑器Tiny edit的JCE内容编辑等；并且对网站的文章进行了单元、分类；对每一个Item进行了ID编号，这些所作都是为了更好的编辑内容，也就是其称之为内容管理器的原因。
