The daily use of sql2008

    

      Today I have already installed the sql2008 about 3times, but they are all failue. Until now, it is the fourth time to install it. And from this three times I get the conclusion that  if one guy want to install successfully, u need to make sure some components are successfully installed:

 

      1. .Net framework. You could select it from baidu or google. The .Net 2version is okay.

      2. visul studio 2008 and sp1 of it update file. File name:VS2008SP1ENUX1512962.iso . Maybe visul studio 6.0 also needs to be installed.

          Files for visual studio 2008:just click set up to install 2008.

          Files for visual studio6.0:VSE600ENU1.iso

      3. install file of sql 2008:en_sql_server_2008_r2_enterprise_x86_x64_ia64_dvd_520517.iso

     

      And the install tools:DAENIB Tools Lite, this tool need iso files to install, and you could left click it then choose device:  to select the files which you need to install, okay it will intall successfully.

 

      Usually if you never install sql before , and you start to install sql2008, it will install .Net framework automatically, and at the beginning of the installation of sql2008, it will check the system in order to see whethere there have enough components for sql2008, such as visual studio and so on. If you just install visual studio 2008 and do not update to sp1 version, it will gives you an error and tell you that you need to update the visual studio to sp1 version, so you need to download VS2008SP1ENUX1512962.iso to update it.

      After all of the steps metioned before, then the system will install sql2008 automatically.

   

      And you should notice that: when you need to unistall sql2008, you should not unistall .Net framework first, if you do that you will not unistall successfully and you need to install .net framework again then unistall sql2008. That is the conclusion.

      Notice:

      When you install sql2008, pls shut down your firewall in order to connect the mof server with wif server, or you will have problems in your installation.

 

 How to unistall sql2008?

    1.Unistall sql2008 in add or remove program page.

    2. Delete all the items related to sqlserver or mssql in the regedit.

有一点需要注意，如果是先装了VS2008之后 再安装SQL2008，那么就会报MOF服务器与WIF服务器通信错误，所以最好办法是卸载所有VS2008以及组建，然后重装2008

或者检查一下 windows下的system32 中是否有framedyn.dll这个系统文件，如果没有到system32 下的wbem文件中拷贝framedyn.dll到system32 目录下

 注意在安装的过程中，account选择界面中，选择第一个Manual，倒数第二个manual，其他全部disabled,另外选择user account用system/

 

另外注意错误的另一个原因是， MSXML 6 Service Pack 2 (KB954459)，就是 SQL Server 2008 (所有版本) 內附的 MSXML 版本比較舊，一旦你的作業系統上過 KB954459 這更新，那麼安裝 SQL Server 2005、2008 所有版本時 (SQL Server 2008 SP1 不確定是否已修正此問題)，都會發生安裝失敗，解法就是先解除安裝 KB954459，再安裝 SQL Server 就會成功了，然後再透過線上更新將 KB954459 補上。
