Create New Attribute GRAYED OUT(创建Attribute时Attribute按钮灰色的怎么办)

Qustion：

in microstrategy's desktop, When I try to create new attribute I can't choose that, it's grayed out,  certain options are not active as well (Attribute, Fact, Hierarchy, transformation, partition and logical table ).  I can access successfully on other pc's, just not my own pc.  I logged onto it on 3 other pc's, and it worked successfully.  On my own pc, those options are grayed out.

Also, a simple answer may be that your desktop is in "Read Only" mode.  Go to the "Schema" menu and select "Read Only Mode".  That option must  be unchecked in order to edit Schema objects.
