Service Oriented Architecture
The Exalead CloudView components are services communicating through a secure framework either locally or remotely over the network. The interfaces between the components is not dependent on the implementation or the physical deployment of the components.
Extensible platform
Exalead CloudView is fully extensible. Internal and external APIs allow clients to automatically discover available services. New services can be added by plugging new components without modifying any other existing component.
OEM-friendly
Exalead CloudView provides public, open interfaces for all functionality. Plugging connectors, processing, indexing and searching documents, can all be configured and performed through public interfaces.
Robust
All critical components of Exalead CloudView can be distributed. All critical data can be replicated. Crash recovery procedures ensure that no data is lost.
Continuous service
Processing & indexing documents and searching the index are independent processes that can be controlled separately and replicated. A change in status of one of these processes should not impact the others.


The CloudView 360 Modules

Business Console
The Business Console is meant to give control of search application to business users, withfeatures such as synonyms, search relevance tuning, content boosting or query reporting.

Intuitive administration interface for 360 components, from data ontology configuration to afully drag and drop Mashup builder.
Mashup UI

Mashup API
Query time content federation engine. Allows to fetch content from heterogeneous sources at query time to search across different corpus or enrich already fetched hits.

A set of HTTP REST services to programmatically configure the 360 modules, apply partially or fully the configuration etc.

A next generation content suggestion engine that takes advantage of the data structure to helpthe user to build semi structured queries to find content.
