BlackBerry支持的NFC card列表

在正式文档中,BlackBerry支持的NFC card列表如下:

Type 1   • Topaz 96

               • Topaz 512

Type 2   • MiFare Ultra Light(512 bit 可以用BlackBerry 初始化)

               • MiFare Ultra Light C (1536 bit)

               • Infineon my-D Move

               • Infineon my-D NFC

Type 3 FeliCa RC-S965

Type 4 MiFare DESFire EV1 (2K Bytes, 4K Bytes, 8K Bytes) (需要进行初始化,可以nfctools - RadioWar LIveCD里面有  + NFC 读卡器 ,先后执行命令mifare-desfire-format,  mifare-desfire-write-ndef

The MiFare Classic  1k and 4k tags are NOT supported due to licensing constraints. The same licensing constraints apply to MiFare Plus tags and DESFire tags in MiFare mode (DESFire tags also support ISO7816-4 mode and these are supported).

Further, it appears that the hardware RIM is using in the Blackberry 9900/9930 is SecuRead from Inside Secure which states it is Mifare Compatible (http://www.insidesecure.com/eng/Products/NFC-Products/SecuRead)

The short answer to the discussion about Mifare Classic is that we don't support it. The summary issues are as follows:
1. it uses a proprietary crypto system
2. it does not fully comply to ISO14443-3
3. there are licensing issues

 It's been asked whether if you know the crypto algorithm and have addressed the licensing issues direct with NXP whether it is then possible to implement a solution using ISO14443-3. I'm told that it is still not possible (presumably because of  [2]).

MiFare 1k and 4k tags are not supported due to licensing constraints. MiFare Ultra Light,and Ultra Light C are supported since they are not subject to licensing constraints.

LLCP and SNEP (over LLCP) from the NFC Forum set of specs are planned. They are not available in the current relase (7.0) but are currently planned as part of he Peer-2-Peer feature which should be coming soon. I can't be more specific about dates. There is a good deck on this and other NFC material that was presented at the latest DevCon11 confernce (entitled: "NFC:  The Future of Apps and How to Build an NFC Enabled App").
