Scalena NewsThis extension allows you to manage news (by store view) directly from the Control panel of Magento (menus "CMS > Manage News" and "System > Configuration > CMS > News").

The news list is by default available at http://www.yourmagentostore.com/news orhttp://www.yourmagentostore/[store_code]/news, after enabling this module ("System > Configuration > CMS > General Settings > Enable News").

This modules integrates a RSS feed and a pagination system ! (both being deactivable)

From the version 0.3.0, this extension requires that the URL rewriting is activated.

Notice
If after the installation of this module, the admin menus "CMS > Manage News" and "System > Configuration > CMS > News" print a blank page, log-out and login again.

The templates of this module will be installed only in the default theme. To install in another theme, copy this files :
./app/design/frontend/default/default/layout/snews.xml in ./app/design/frontend/default/[yourtheme]/layout/snews.xml
./app/design/frontend/default/default/template/Scalena/News in ./app/design/frontend/default/[yourtheme]/template/Scalena/News

How To Create a block
To create a block, edit the layout ./app/design/frontend/default/[yourtheme]/layout/snews.xml and adapt the section "default" which is based on the template "block.phtml" and block "Block.php".
