Education is oneof the most important things for a society to prosper and be safe. In myopinion, different people have different views about education and its purposes.If our purpose is to produce a good coal miner who will work until he drops andcauses no problems, then education will be a simple affair. If our goal is toproduce well-rounded, resourceful, responsible and useful gentlemen and ladies,education will be a much more complicated affair. Regarding SCI, the purpose ofeducation is that when each individual pursues his/her maximum interest bringsa maximum interest to the society. In this case, education will be acomplicated thing. A good education system will play an important role duringprogress.

There aredifferences in the content and the way things are taught in schools around theworld. I feel that no country own a perfect education system. As far as I know,Chinese students gain knowledge through books or what taught by teachers. Aftergraduation, what we learn is different from what is needed in society. We justget knowledge through objective way. It’s not good for students to develop fullpotential of their mind. We always say Chinese students lack creative thoughts.Actually, all the qualities of creative intelligence are present in a person.Why do people are different? Because of the ways which we get knowledge are notcomplete.

This is a Chinese idiomthat read a millionbookstravela million miles. I think this idiom presents two ways to get knowledge—both objectiveand subjective methods. Meanwhile, SCI brings fulfillment to education in usingboth subjective and objective methods of gaining knowledge.

Consciousness-basedEducation recognizes that the educational process has a three-fold structureinvolving: the knower (the student), the processes of knowing (which connectsthe knower with known) and the known (the curriculum that the student studies).

The quality of thestudents’ awareness is fundamental to successful educational outcomes. Throughthe subjective means of gaining knowledge, the awareness expands tounboundedness. On the horizon of that unbounded awareness, the objective,scientific means of gaining knowledge brings precise, non-variable, reliableinformation about relative life. All three aspects of education can be fullydeveloped by SCI. When knowledge is complete, life is lived in fulfillment. Ifeveryone’s life is lived in fulfillment, the world will filled with happinessand fulfillment.
