Ubuntu Xen VPS安装PPTP VPN

在Xen VPS上安装的Ubuntu 5.5 32bit操作系统，安装后pptpd start不起来，查看错误，是因为start-stop-daemon –start不起来，只输出了Starting PPTP Daemon:。但是start-stop-daemon –stop是可以的，输入到pptpd。
pptpd的脚本如下：

start)    echo -n "Starting PPTP Daemon: "    start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --pidfile $PIDFILE --exec $DAEMON \    -- < /dev/null > /dev/null    echo "pptpd."    ;;

stop)    echo -n "Stopping PPTP: "    start-stop-daemon --stop --quiet --pidfile $PIDFILE --exec $DAEMON    echo "pptpd."    ;;
