编辑 NOTES.INI 文件

绝大多数情况下，不需要修改服务器或客户机的 NOTES.INI 文件。NOTES.INI 文件包含许多设置，Domino 和 Notes 依靠这些设置正常工作。意外的或错误的更改可能导致 Domino 或 Notes 以不可预知的方式运行。因此，只有在特殊的情况下或者 Lotus 支持服务部门建议编辑 NOTES.INI 文件时，才应该这样做。
有三种编辑 NOTES.INI 设置的方法：
1>打开 NOTES.INI 文件并对其进行编辑。此过程取决于客户机或服务器的操作系统以及所使用的文本编辑器。
2>创建“配置设置”文档并编辑其设置。使用“配置设置”文档，可以同时添加和修改多个 NOTES.INI 设置。然而，有很多设置无法在“配置设置”文档中设置。而且，因为“配置设置”文档仅适用于 Domino 服务器，所以无法使用它来修改 Notes 客户机的 NOTES.INI 文件。
3>使用 Set Configuration 服务器命令。
因为直接编辑 NOTES.INI 文件是不安全的，所以最好使用“配置设置”文档来修改服务器设置。 

使用“配置设置”文档编辑 NOTES.INI 文件
  1. 从 Domino Administrator 中，打开 Domino 目录并单击“配置”附签。
  2. 要编辑现有的“配置设置”文档，请突出显示该文档并单击“编辑配置”。要新建配置文档，请突出显示将要对其应用该“配置设置”文档的服务器，然后单击“添加配置”。
  3. 要修改服务器上的 NOTES.INI 文件设置，请单击“NOTES.INI 设置”附签。此附签列出了服务器 NOTES.INI 文件中的许多当前设置。
  4. 要添加或更改设置，请单击“设置/修改参数”以显示可以在“配置设置”文档中设置的所有设置。然后选择希望添加/修改的设置。
  5. 保存并关闭文档。
