同事讲的关于小孩和LINUX的故事

 

Jupiter: was reading this article yesterday. how a guy had a 3 year old kid and he thaught him how to interact with computer using only Linux Shell
Jupiter: the kid is now 5 and was not using the computer that much so the dad decided to install some GUI for the first time
Jupiter: he went downstairs to  look for a mouse
Jupiter: the 2 kids went along to help. then they found it
Jupiter: so he went to their linux command line only computer and taught the kids how to install
Jupiter: so the father asked why does the kid have to type root and what apt-get does. after installing the GUI. they typed "startx"
Jupiter: and for the first time in the kids lives they were able to use a mouse and very excited about it!
Jupiter: they also installed some tuxpaint for the kids to play with and spent a lot of time playing with it
Jupiter: then they lived happily ever after :)
