2.3 Data Guard Operational Prerequisites

2.3.1 Hardware and Operating System Requirements访问http://support.oracle.com可以得到，但是需要有服务号。2.3.2 Oracle Software RequirementsDG是企业版的特性，标准版不具有；在DG configuration中，对于物理备库，所有COMPATIBALE参数必须与主库相同，而逻辑备库的COMPATIBALE可以比主库大；主库必须运行在ARCHIVELOG模式；主库可以是单实例或者是一个RAC数据库，备库也同样，而且这些备库可以包括逻辑，物理，快照类型；每个主库和备库都必须有自己的控制文件；如果备库和主库在同一个OS上，那么备库必须有自己的归档路径，否则会覆盖主库的归档；主库要开启FORCE LOGGING，这样主库做的所有更改都会通过redo传到备库，即使使用NOLOGGING；管理主库和备库的用户必须有SYSDBA系统权限；为了操作上的简便，Oracle建议当你在DG configuration中创建了ASM or OMF，那么对应的也在主库上这样创建，除非你是为了迁移或者维护的目的，否则都应该这么干。
