Description

 

This course is designed to give students a firm foundation inbasic administration of Oracle Database 11g. In this class,students learn how to install and maintain Oracle Database 11g.Students gain a conceptual understanding of the Oracle databasearchitecture and how its components work and interact with oneanother. Students learn how to create an operational database andproperly manage the various structures in an effective andefficient manner including performance monitoring, databasesecurity, user management, and backup/recovery techniques. Thelesson topics are reinforced with structured hands-onpractices.

This course counts towards the Hands-on course requirement forthe Oracle Database

11g Administrator Certification. Only instructor-led inclass orinstructor-led online

formats of this course will meet the Certification Hands-onRequirement. Self Study

CD-Rom and Knowledge Center courses DO NOT meet the Hands-onRequirement

database administration. In this class, you'll learn how toinstall and maintain an Oracle database. You will gain a

effective and efficient manner including performance monitoring,database security, user management, and
