BlazeDS和LiveCycle DS的区别

“BlazeDS和LiveCycle DS之间究竟有什么区别？” 这是最近一个朋友问我的问题。
简单来说，BlazeDS和LiveCycle DS都是基于J2EE的服务器应用，区别是BlazeDS完全开源免费，而LiveCycle DS则是商业版本，不过开发者可以免费试用（支持3并发）。

至于具体功能上的差异，很难一言以蔽之。正巧在一篇MAX演讲视频中看到两页slides，可以很直观的说明这个问题，这里特借用一下：

LiveCycle DS

可以看到，BlazeDS的功能基本上是LiveCycle DS的子集。为LCDS所特有功能包括：

• 客户端API层：DataService组件，用于数据同步和管理
• 服务层：数据管理服务（对应于客户端的DataService组件），PDF生成
• 通道层：支持Java NIO的轮询，长轮询和流模式，支持RTMP
• 集成层：支持Hibernate集成等
