Script :

What a large quantity of men’s deepest feeling in their hearts is sung out by the song called ’old boys’.
Youth, love, dreams! All these excite old boys with tears. Those years, those girls, those dreams all have gone.
But who has also realized, girls would be more eager to cry while they care about beauty and youth more?
So, old boys and girls, has our youth really gone like torrential rivers, and will never come back?


But I still obstinately want to ask:
Do you think you are still young? (pick up the audience to answer)
And Why?


I always think I’m still young on age and mind. But, sometimes the reality is the opposite scene.
Recently, I was considering whether to change to a pre-sales occupation in my company or not. If I do so, it means that I have no right to choose working places. To be not exaggerated, I’ll be appointed to any capital of all the provinces in China. Since I am going to get married, it’s a challenge of several years’ separation with my girl, maybe plus a baby later. Moreover, I’m not confident in my performance in the new job. A marketing job is more challenging, once you slip up in a project, maybe you’ll be fired immediately. Therefore, I’m in worry as life goes on.
One day, one of my classmates of university perceived my depression in a get-together.  He comforted me with saying: There must be a way out somewhere. His words shocked me. Was I so worried obviously? It seems that I have to change this situation at once. Coincidently, when I was addicted to hesitation, another friend Sun inspired me with his own action. 


He changed to sale Chinese wine in a small city in Jiangsu province for love, while he previously was a promising manager working in marketing in a big city. Registering to marry, buying a house, all the important things that people take seriously were accomplished. Good times don't last long. His quiet and happy life was interrupted by a call from his former boss, who wanted him to go back to a new team of marketing.
Unexpectedly, only one week later, he leaved his wife for the unknown and challenge with a case and a bag without hesitation. We all joked him that his girl might have felt to be cheated by him. It amazed me so much that I asked why he could make such a quick and firm decision, he just replied: I will make it and then get my wife there.


No worry, no hesitation, no fear, Full of energy and confidence, suddenly, I realized that’s the soul of youth.
It’s about dream. Be brave to have, dareful to pursue, diligent to accomplish. It’s not a time of life; it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of age, it’s a matter of will, a quality of the imagination. It’s the freshness of the deep springs of life.


Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. 
In the center of your heart and my heart there is a radio: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the nature, so long are you young.
When the signals are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at 20, but as long as your signals are up, to catch waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at 80.

from Lucy Kong: have eye-contact with everyone smoothly. (interact with each audience with eye-contact for half a second)

from Rick Zhang: rich gesture will help you better/design some gesture(手势太单一，没有明确意义！这也是演讲的一个重要研究方向)

from Joy Dong: 强调重点时，能有个前奏，让观众有个预期并带着兴趣等待（这点可以通过调整语句的顺序，讲稿的逻辑来实现，比如把本篇演讲的问题Do you think you are still young?放在演讲最开始）

总结：

1. 在台上可以找到自己的节奏了，并且可以控制节奏了

2. 比较自信了

3. rehearsal 的经验：5-7min，需用3-4h rehearsal，practise的熟练即可，不必强求与原稿相同（这不是背书）；如果想要更好的提升质量，需要多加两个小时，观看rehearsal视频，不断改进；

4. 书法很重要，能给别人留下很强的第一印象！（需要联系行书、英文书法）

5. 演讲稿的语言运用会直接影响到演讲的质量！

1)有哲理的比喻，比很标准的描述语言更有力量、更生动

2）幽默

6. 每次会议，每个人都是GE

从其他人身上学到的：

1) It's good for audience to focus on the speaker, thus you can understand the evaluation from the evaluators better.

2) for timer： bring attendees back to the room after break

3. from Eva(evaluator): 与被评价者沟通，描述他们之前的行为，他们就会自己说出自己的不足！形式很新颖，具体参见当期（255th）视频

做点评时，可以模仿被点评者、或者做类似的事情，使他们自己能更清晰的了解到那些需要改进
