CRM Account, Opportunity and Activity Mangement

Generally Account is referred in three stages.
1) Suspect (account in ‘Startup’ stage).
2) Prospect (account in ‘Prospective’ stage).
3) Customer (confirmed customer – sales order created)

Opportunity creation is involved after the business partner (client) is created and moved to Prospective stage .This Opportunity helps to keep track of the client and helps a lot to complete the sales cycle with sales order.
An Opportunity describes the following:
-Prospective customer (prospect)
-Probability (estimated)
-Customer requested service & products
-Potential sales volume
There are four stages in Opportunity:
-Prospect
-Evaluate
-Prove
-Close

Activity management refers to activities created and maintained against customer, contacts and opportunities as a way to keep track of interactions with customers.
The two types of activities in Activity Management are:
- Task For Employee
