一、Hadoop几种版本之间的区别：

目前，hadoop社区有几个不同的分支版本，各个版本之前又相互联系。以下是几个主要版本的一些介绍。

(1)、0.20.2是一个stable的版本，他有几个子版本，0.20.203 具有security特性，但是不具有append和raid功能。 0.20-append具有append功能没有security。0.20.205是0.20-append和0.20.203merge，具有append和security，没有raid，symlink等。

(2)、1.0及之后的版本都是从0.20.205开始的，是稳定版本。并且1.x始终是mr1.

(3)、0.21 具有append，raid和symlink功能，激进的特性，没有security特性，不保证稳定。

(4)、0.22具有append，raid，security和symlink功能，但是mapreduce没有security，并且没有加入performance得patch。

(5)、0.23具有mr2.

二、cloudera几个版本之间的区别：

CDH is available in the following releases:

(1)、CDH4 is the current stable release of CDH, based on Apache Hadoop 2.0.

(2)、CDH3 is the previous stable, production-quality release series, based on Apache Hadoop 0.20.2. Cloudera will fix bugs in stable releases, but no features will be added that impact stability.

(3)、CDH2 is a retired release series. No further updates are planned for this series.

(4)、CDH1 is a retired release series. No further updates are planned for this series.
