MY experiment on MIS

The follow thing were all about the complaint

WEEK 1

Recently, The homework is to implement a micro MIS(Management Information System),which itself is easy,But,as a person always make small project having no idea on the team work. So  , picking  up two friends to become a group. Then the trouble came.

First, The theme is not given,so we'll find a theme . My view was find the easiest way to complete this, so  everyone will hand on a plan, we decide to use one of them and the owner of plan was the leader.(That's is a big Mistake ! !). Because this a just homework,Their are no profit in it. It 's hard to decide who has the power if everybody has their idea.

Problem: when discuss the Theme , I has a difficult one, which is similar with later our teacher's demonstrated plan.I thought that would take us too much time to finish that.In the point , we picked a look-easy one, But when the discussion was over, 1 one of my friend talk to me that he will make another Theme by himself. And he will also  finish the group work.And the guy thought he could make it without thinking which really really, shock me . 2 After the teacher's Theme has illustrated, the other guy thought we could mimic the teacher's theme (and that push back to the start time.),3 So,I don't want to do that plan.

So three persons will all do their stuff.The team broke.

WEEK 2

To understand easy the person  ,B --> who mimic the teacher's plan .C --> who want to do himself.

Next week,our teacher explained in a very very detail way.So , B thought that was so difficult,and then he will follow my plan . C was just thought out his own plan that 's funny ! _ !  And the most funniest thing is he also copy the idea from teacher.   

Oh ! MY ! GOD ! 

What can I say now?

WEEK 3

This week we design the data_stream , E-R . Nothting stranges. I asked teacher serveral  questions on making the sqlclient file. The database was important to design in the right way.

person C was also started to design the database.

WEEK 4

The simple design was over.Now is work time.So, I made thebasicprototype sharing with the person B. But he said, last year ,people are all not work that out.So, we could do it easy and relax~    

Damn the realx!!

At the sametime , in another class ,there was a person had made a rough but complete MIS and showed to our teacher.He did really reallly good. I knew him finishing that alone. And I also want to the team work.

Two days past,person B was still not ready to start working ... This recalled the memory of efficient about the programmer and the rate was 1:10. ok , although I am just  2 . Those things was really wear out my passion.

WEEK 5

All the design has done in this week. I framed the basic site and distributed it to co-worker B and C. 

Start working ....  I just doing my own job.

Week 6

----------------

On the last week, we all had the work for ourselves. And the work should be handed to me in Sunday,but this week we would have the mid test.So  the work had been delaied . 

Week 7

This sunday is the day to hand to the work of themselves,then B said. "i haven't done ",A said "It is something to hard for me"....Then B said "The software is broken when I coding...." .... What a wonderful day~ Thought Week1 to Week 7 is almost two month to prepare a mirco-MIS and finally the result was "Sorry,We can't "

Week 8

In week 1 I said , This project wasn't too big to finish it for only one person. So I prove it's true. At end the student B send me few ofunrelated file or SO called 'trash file' . student C said,sorry about that.

Week 9

------------

This week , our teacher has a meeting , so the lesson cancelled. And my demonstration on MIS also delayed to the next week.

Week 10

----------

The Teacher checked my work. and Pass....Although it's also have many issues in it, I worn out my passion. And so so disappoint on my group worker. We won't have the choice to choose what we do in future.So God bless us.

Mistake--> In The Mythical Man-Month,Brooks told the manager should  control all the power. And share with other guy in the team.

Result:

In Software Engineering , the hard  thing is not thinking , building, growing or testing the system,person is . Whatever is the customers or co-workers.  The only way to solve the problem is to communicate and communicate.
