Glance的新变化有：

1, Havana中允许定义多个Image Locations，但glance仍然只是从第一个location获得镜像，只有出错时，才尝试从下一个Location中获取。
2，用户在glance中存储镜像占用的存储也可以通过user_storage_quota参数进行限制，当然，最终是想把这块移到keystone中，glance只是读。
3，glance提供镜像存储在哪里的元数据注册，镜像最终可以存储在File System, Swift, Amazon, S3, Http, Iscsi, RDB中。
4, glance目前支持的镜像格式有：Raw, AMI(amazon Machine), ARI(Amazon ramdisk), AKI(Amazon Kernel), VHD(Hyper-v), VDI(VirtualBox), Qcow2(QEMU/KVM), VMDK(VMware), ISO
5，用于定义元数据的镜像容器格式有：OVF, sysprep, Bare, AMI, ARI, AKI

Cinder的新变化有：

1，Cinder目前提供的功能有：
Volume Create/Delete
Volume Attach/Detach
Snapshot Create/Delete
Create Volume from Snapshot
Get Volume Stats
Copy Image to Volume
Copy Volume to Image
Clone Volume
Note:  Icehouse will have the same requirements + Extend volume
2，Cinder新增了一些驱动，如VMDK, GPFS, Dell EqualLogic, XIV DS8K, NFS, Huawei OceanStor HVS, Hitachi DF850, HP 3Par
3，Volume Resize, cinder extend <volume-id> <new size>
4，提升调度功能(cinder-schedule)
5，允许提供只读卷
6，允许glance将镜像存储在cinder之中
7, 可以将卷备份到Swift或者Ceph之中
8，允许卷在被一个虚机attach的情况下也能迁移
