A Summary of how to produce American F and V sounds

Last session we talk about air friction with TH sounds.That sounds make a air friction.Today we  are going to talk about air friction again.This time it is with f and v sounds.

The F and V sounds are paired consonants.They are both produce exactly the same way.F sound is unvoiced,v sound is voiced.They are both produced by your upper teeth to your lower lip.It is sawed feels like you  biting  down your lower lip.Now remember all that voice means that your (vikors) are (vibrding) making a sound.So correctly pronouncing this sound will make you speech much clearly.Like the TH sounds from the lash session.F and V are friction sounds.And that allowed you stretch this sounds a little bit and be clearly heared.

Let's started by looking at f sound in the word " foot".Most many (fun) speakers  may use the right position.By biting down their lower lip,But still keep the F very short.They don’t create air friction.There  for you do not  hear the air friction very clearly.Let me show you what you need to do.First thinking of word is having  two beats.Then hold the f sound for the first f beat.You need to hear the air friction.

Now  it's time for the V sound.First was like the F sound.Don’t make the V sound too short.Let's look at the word "vote".You got stretch out the V.and you need to produce it by your upper teeth to your lower lip.
