关于AA制的起源。最有代表的有四种。

一种据说来自英文 go Dutch，在美国人的字典里他们这么解释 go dutch:Share expensesequally and split the cost of something.For example: My boyfriendand I always go Dutch.

而另一个短语dutch treat

A dinnerwhere each person pays for his own. 那么我们所说的AA制到底是英语里面的 go dutch ordutch treat?

第二种是AlgebraicAverage的缩写，意思是代数平均，就是按人头平均分担帐单的意思。

第三种是Acting Appointment的缩写.

第四种是现代香港人的理解——All Apart的缩写，意为全部分开.

AA制在英语字典里查不到和吃饭有关的东西. 如此可以推断,AA制的说法多半是从香港传入内地的. 也就是说在西方国家并没有AA制=GoDutch or Dutch treat 的说法. 他们只说 Go Dutch or Dutch treat, 或者 split,separate.

那么怎么理解AA制呢? 我觉得你可以把他理解成 Go Dutch(平均分),你也可以理解成 Dutch treat(各付各的).关键看具体情况.如果是大家像我们中国人一样在一张桌子上共享一顿美餐,那就很可能是平分了.但如果是像西方大多数情况下那样,一般不共同食用一桌菜,而是各吃各的,那么就翻译做各付各的好了.

如此看来在网络上的对于AA制很多翻译都是不准确的
