超级云计算能否真正实现？

单就一个行业而言，一直以来我们对于云计算所带来好处的认识可能显得过于狭窄了。如果云计算是一次真正的革命性变革，那么它就必须能够支持生产和用户体验的模式，而这些都是目前的云计算还不能为客户提供的支持项。也就是说，未来真正的云计算必须是我们口中的“超级云计算”，它应该是一个具备更好的计算和网络服务的平台，而不仅仅只是更便宜而已。对于服务供应商来说，超级云计算带来的好处可能是双倍的，即为IT公司增加IT资源和附加值。

但是，这里存在着一个大问题：云计算供应商们是否能够建设好超级云计算？

基本的云计算就是一场在成本和规模经济之间进行平衡的博弈游戏。目前，企业都在他们自己的数据中心中运行应用程序，而云计算则主张这些应用程序不仅应当能够以较低的成本在云计算中运行，而且也应为云计算供应商们创造利润。你不必为了实现这种基于成本的目标而成为金融专业人士，同时这一目标也越来越难以实现。云计算项目的投资回报率(ROI)在某种意义上已经超越了纯粹的成本节省，任何云计算迁移的可预测风险都会迫使买家进一步追求更高的ROI，所有这些都使得云计算服务的实施变得更为困难。这样看来，低于2%的云计算普及率也是非常正常的，这一数字正与其在总的IT支出中所占的比率相一致。

但是，云计算供应商们并不应完全地围着成本节省打转，他们应当更多地关注企业实施云计算而获得的延伸效益。这就是“超级云计算”概念的精髓所在。这一点对于一家云计算供应商来说，就意味着为用户提供比通过传统IT模式所能获得的更好的个人体验或更高的员工生产效率。因为ROI的定义就是效益与成本或风险的比值，所以提高整体效益和/或提高客户所使用的云计算项目或服务的数量就能够提高ROI。

对于一个能够比传统IT模式提供更好个人体验和服务的超级云计算来说，它必须以一种传统IT无法实现的方法来支持应用程序和功能。云计算供应商们已经从非常基本的虚拟机托管即基础设施即服务(IaaS)扩展了他们的服务至更高层次的平台即服务(PaaS)以及其他的平台产品。例如，亚马逊网络服务(AWS)提供了一个基于云计算的内容交付网络服务，而阿尔卡特-朗讯公司的CloudBand产品定义了一个名为“carrier PaaS”的应用程序编程接口(API)以帮助云计算运营商开发特殊的应用程序组件和功能，这些应用程序组件和功能不仅有助于控制成本，而且也扩展了云计算的工具。

网络功能虚拟化是通往“超级云计算”之路

例如，在超级云计算中，功能组件已取代了应用程序组件、托管网络服务功能、或者甚至是通过管理API暴露的网络功能等，而这些功能组件将有助于基本云计算服务IaaS的提升。开发人员可以使用这样的平台工具组合来开发应用程序和创建云计算服务，就如同现在的开发人员使用基于传统操作系统和中间件的工具开发应用程序一样。在这个意义上来说，超级云计算可以被看作是一种分布式的“超级”操作系统——就如同吸引自己的开发社区一样。

网络功能虚拟化(NFV)可能是创建和交付更多PaaS和超级云计算功能的一种方法。虽然NFV并不强制云计算的虚拟托管功能，但它是肯定支持这项功能的，而且迄今为止大部分的NFV实施都宣称把云计算应用程序组件组合和网络功能整合成为一个单一的服务。这就为超级云计算的进一步发展打好了基础，因为它把位置、移动和社交网络信息与应用程序、网络交付和网络连接混合在一起。如果云计算供应商能够利用这样一个统一的生态系统以实现快速调整服务并满足市场需求，那么他们就能快速提高利润并推动业界以更快的速度实施云计算。

但是，这也会带来另一个问题，即托管在超级云计算中的虚拟功能和软件组件是如何连接至合作功能或服务的。每一个软件组件都至少有一个接口用于创建协作的组件系统，你必须把这些接口与一个工作流模式(一个有时被称为业务流程的过程)相连。NFV实施可能会包括业务流程能力，并且有各种可与之协作的软件流程工具。例如，面向服务的架构(SOA)定义了工作流的业务流程。同时，诸如对象管理组织(OMG)和TM论坛这样的标准化组织还认为，云计算供应商可以定义超级云计算PaaS的工作流程。目前业界所面临的挑战并不是确定是否有一个采用这种模式的标准，而是在于决定哪一种标准是最好的。

构建超级云计算：挑战依然存在

但是，这确实会导致潜在的利弊权衡，而这也是超级云计算所必须解决的问题。应对瞬息万变的市场机遇所需的灵活性和敏捷性可能会与确保低运行成本和高效客户支持所需的稳定性和标准化发生冲突。单套超级云计算平台API对于开发人员是具有一定吸引力的，因为它可以允许开发人员为任何超级云计算生态系统进行应用程序的开发，但是这个超级云计算的概念是现在才出现的，所以在这样的早期阶段中可能很难选择正确的工具。

操作系统和中间件为开发人员开发应用程序提供了一个一致的工具包。超级云计算可能必须回答如下这个问题，即在未来这个稳定的静态机制是否适合开发云计算托管体验。相关的软件设计技术(SOA是最明显的)可以让开发人员浏览服务元素库并选择那些适于整合至服务工作流的服务元素。就目前而言，还没有人在云计算供应商的生产环境中进行过相关测试，同样也没有供应商提供过云计算所需的敏捷性。那么，是否会出现新的模式呢？这是一个非常关键的问题。

企业管理层很可能会提出最后一个问题，即超级云计算概念是否会得到广泛地认可和实施。通过纠正人们对云计算的简单概念认识，即资源是“真实的”并可根据设备类型进行分类，虚拟化正在强调目前的管理模式。虚拟资源是如何进行分类的，以及动态组成体验是如何表现得像是一个管理系统的？自从虚拟化部署开始之后的五年以来，业界一直都在讨论这个问题，而且即便是对于资源有限的数据中心模式，业界现在依然没有完全解决这个问题。超级云计算必须是无所不在的“超级”，其中也包括了管理，或者它将无法同时支持满足用户需求和实现运营商利润的双重任务。
