Attribute Set Will Not Save Hangs on “Please Wait”

Okay, I randomly tried a couple combinations of solutions from a multitude of different posts. Here is the solution that is currently working for me (with crossed fingers).

1. In Cache Storage Management, i selected all and disabled
2. I pressed Flush Magento Cache
3. I deleted all files in my var/cache

That is it.

However, i did change a few settings on php5.ini file and also the .htaccess file. Unfortunately i don’t remember what changes i did make. If you would like me to copy and paste the settings i can. However i think the solution is with he Cache Storage Management.
