CentOS 4 yum不能更新解决一例

今天帮一台CentOS 4.7安装snmp时，发现出错了:

[root@~ yum.repos.d]# yum install -y net-snmp net-snmp-utils

[root@~ yum.repos.d]#

去找了/etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo，看了里面的配置，访问http://mirror.centos.org/centos/4/，出现readme.txt，点开后提示

This directory (and version of CentOS) is depreciated.  

CentOS-4 is now past EOL

You can get the last released version of centos 4.9 here:

http://vault.centos.org/4.9/

原来还有最后的更新源(http://vault.centos.org/4.9/)，不过是4.7的CentOS-Base.repo没有了，进入4.9目录时看还有，于是将4.9的CentOS-Base.repo下载下来更新到服务器/etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo，然后将文件中4.9全部更新为4.7，

再来yum，搞定了。
