Login Ubuntu automatically as root user

1. Make sure your root account is available in your Ubuntu. If not, try this command to reset its password to activate it:

sudo passwd root

2. Edit lightdm.conf file:

sudo gedit /etc/lightdm/lighdm.conf

3. Set the value of "autologin-user" to root:

autologin-user=root
