 手动安装Dameware在Win98的客户端

本人实践过程：

本人操作系统Windows 2000 server , 安装了 DameWare NT Utilities v3.72

在安装DameWare NT Utilities（默认为C:/Program Files/DameWare Development/DameWare NT Utilities）的文件夹下找到DWRCS.exe , DWRCK.dll , DWRCSET.dll , 在该文件夹下找不到 DWRCShell.dll 这是个客户端安装后产生的文件，在在已安装客户端win2k的机器下默认为C:/WINNT/system32下，可通过文件查找获得。
将这四个文件拷贝到要安装客户端的WIN98机器的C:/windows/system的文件夹下。
在开始->运行 中键入命令 dwrcs –install ,完毕后会弹出一个对话框 ，让你输入授权用户名及密码（我输入的是域管理员的帐号和密码），确定后将电脑重起动一下,再次键入命令 dwrcs –install 就会看见客户端图标了，最后与Win2k不同的是，Authentication要换成Proprietary Challenge /Response,这样就可以连接了。

以上过程完成后，当连接到win98时候，会在客户端弹出提示框（跟在win2k默认情况下同），要隐藏这个弹出框，可在 c:/windows/system下的找到 dwrcs.ini 文件编辑即可

或 在你在安装到win2k的机器上的已经编辑（既不会显示客户端图标）并dwrcs.ini文件拷贝过来覆盖即可。需要注意的是，编辑或覆盖dwrcs.ini文件后，又要重启动一下，并再次在开始-->运行中运行dwrcs -install 命令，这时才可以连接了

· For Windows 95/98/Me/Xp Home, there is no functionality for doing a remote installation of the DMRC Client Agent service and you must manually install it.
  
· If you are having difficulty installing the Mini Remote Client Agent service remotely then you can manually install it. 
How to Install the DMRC Service Manually
1. Open your local DameWare Mini Remote Control installation folder.
Default folders:
/Program Files/DameWare Development/DameWare NT Utilities
or
/Program Files/DameWare Development/DameWare Mini Remote Control
  
2. Locate and copy the DWRCS.exe, DWRCK.dll, DWRCSET.dll and DWRCShell.dlx files to the remote machine.  
For Windows NT/2000/Xp, place all files in the System32 folder.
For Windows 95/98/Me place all files in the /Windows/System folder.
  
At a command prompt on the remote machine execute the following command:

DWRCS -install

This will install the Mini Remote Client Agent as a service. You can also run the Client Agent as an application by simply executing the DWRCS.exe but when the computer reboots or if the user exits the application, the server will not be available.
