JavaScript 00Introduction

     Part one:welcome

     Hi,this is Simon Allardice,and welcome to JavaScript Essential Training.Javascript is the programming language of the web invented for the web and add beavior and interactivity to your pages,will begin with the basics,the core of javascript language and then texts how to write them,right put them,what tools you can use.we'll start to go ,step by step,through the different things you do with javascript .what will work with forms,work with events,get really understand  the Dom,the document object model,the way you will understand  and change your pages,in reaction to what the user is doing  ,you see how to debug a Javascrpt,wil also explore the popular Javascript libiaries,like jquery,and more rap  with some more advanced topics,along the way,will see a lot of best practices of developed over recent years,so what blend your new to javascrpt or peharps you 've  been working with it on awful years,welcome to Javascript Essential  Training.

      Part two:prerequests
      In this course,i am strating with  idea,that you know some html,and you know some css,because javascript is an language that works with manipulated webpages,so i expect you know how to make webpages,and that  even if you use a visy design  program,like dreamweaver ,you could if you had to still open  a text editor,and write a basic html5,with correctly next to the elements,you don't have to be a girl ,i don't expect you write a transitional xhtml dottype from memory,but you could make a simple page that works,and similarly with css you good with  creating and plan styles to elements working with ids and classes,and fice now the case ,take a look at other courses,learn the dom first,now i don't expect you to be a programmer,we're going to start from the scratch,that if you know about the programming fundamental variables loose conditions that's very useful,of course if you're experienced with programming that's great and welcome .be aware in the next few movies were going to cover the core language then text javascript  mcch of them is based on c,.so if you have spent several years living in c or c# or java,yes,you are going to see some things that you already know,so,expect that javascript didn't try an newly invented way to write an statement  so,you might tend to jump high   but i do suggest you  go through all the contexts,i just invite you to relax and enjoy the right later on,because even in an usual  stages ,you are going to see things that are different from what you expect , even in the most fundamental context like  creating variables,checking equality and so little differences that  existing in programmers that need focus on, the basic things you take for granted,but just don't apply javascript.
     Part three:exercise files
     If you are a premier member of lynda. com or if you are watching these tutors on a DVD-ROM you have access to some exercise files used in this title,i have followed here ,download to my desktop,these followed code,exercise files and in that ,you'll find each of the relevent chapters will have its own folders and in some of these folders that  are files represented some  simple exercise files will be  working with jewllery moviesi am applying those files,at the relevant time,by just showing you the path to the five location.these are all  just for convienice but  not required but they do make things a little easier,if you don'thave access to the exercise files,you can't follow long scratch or just create your own exercise.
