svn提交out of date

我用的svn是Eclipse插件，我删除了目录再提交，遇到如下信息

Item is out-of-date
svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Item '/xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx' is out of date

我本人猜测是版本引起的问题，先更新这个目录，让它与svn服务器上的相同，用team-->Synchronize with Repository,在Synchronize窗口选择相应目录再右键选择override and Update，更新之后就跟SVN服务器保持一致了，然后再提交，ok
