When you start looking for a new laptop, the chances are very high that you come home with a machine equipped with Windows 8.1. That is not convenient for everyone, especially in the business world, which often has standardized on an older version, especially Windows 7. For that problem provides Toshiba Satellite Pro R50-B-109sony tablet s charger an affordable solution. The latest notebook from Toshiba eschews the snazzy design and gimmicks used on some of its rivals, and instead aims to nail its business blueprint with solid performance, great ergonomics and good portability. It’s got a keen price, too - £550. That’s in mid-range laptop territory, and it’s hundreds less than you’ll pay for dedicated business portables and Ultrabooks. Can this machine punch above its weight?

The latest notebook from Toshiba manufacturer is the Satellite Pro R50-B-12U. It grabs all attention towards it by excelling in performance, ergonomics and portability. The key features in it are: Screen resolution: 1366 * 768 with 15.6 inch Processor: 1.7GHz Intel Core i5-4210U RAM: 4GB and 500GB of hard disk. Weight: 2.4kg. Warranty: 1 year RTB. Cost: £550.00

Among its rivals, Toshiba’s Satellite Click 2 L30W-B-10D and HP Envy 15 x360, the R50 is 24 mm thick. It finds to be the smallest notebooks with little floppy. The R50 is made of plastic with strong base. The R50 doesn’t weighs heavy to carry out. The laptops such as Dell Latitude 13 or the Asus Zenbook UX303apple cinema display power supplyquite costly but miss some features like optical drives and number-pads.This notebook doesn’t attract the viewers by its design. The lid is of black plastic and the keyboard and trackpad are also black with plain lined pattern. The Toshibalenovo b5400 charger logo is placed in the front cover but the machine doesn’t stand good. Surprisingly, the connectivity is good. It supports dual band 802.11c Wifi, Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet connection, two USB 3 ports, USB 2 Connector, SD card port and HDMI output.

2.15 kilos he and within that weight you get a laptop with a simple black appearance, a 15.6 inch screen with a matte finish and just a DVD burner. No, this is not a laptop where someone turns his head when you're working with it there. It is a commonplace device without special frills, a working machine. The plastic exterior is unremarkable and similar to most other models in this price range. Despite the fact that this model from the Satellite Pro series comes, he has an average price of approximately 559 euros. The decent dimensions are paired with good build quality.alienware m14x battery replacementThe R50 is hewn from plastic, but most of its surfaces feel strong, with little give - only the middle of the screen displays any movement, but it’s on a par with its rivals.

Coming to the screen quality, their 15.6inch panels which discuss the number of windows can be used simultaneously. The color temperature is good with Delta E of 8.18 which proves that color accuracy is awkward. The contrast ratio is 231:1 and its black levels were not unto the marks. The appearance of color in screen is not equal and pales out at some edges. The abiding feature inlenovo 90w 20v ac adapter Toshiba’s screen is 233 nit brightness levels which meets our requirements for doing simple tasks and web browsing. Its rival, Asus UX 303 stands better in contrast and brightness on a mid range notebooks. The speakers, too, doesn’t meet our requirements. It lacks in the volume setup according to our environment. The Satellite’s dimensions get it off to a good start. The R50 is 24mm thick and weighs 2.3kg, which means it’s barely bigger than hybrid machines such ashp t610 power supply Toshiba’s Satellite Click 2 L30W-B-10D and the HP Envy 15 x360. It’s also smaller than most mid-range notebooks - they tend to be heavier and a little flabbier.

For that money you get a laptop with Windows 7 preinstalled. Windows 7 Professional understood. At the bottom of the laptop, however, you find a sticker of Windows 8 Pro. Strange? Not really, because if you opt for Windows 8 Prot101mt akku, you can use the downgrade rights and that Toshiba has in this case already done for you. In the box you will find a set of disks for if you ever again though would like to switch. This model is for handling the small tasks. The processor is Intel core i5-4210U which is dual core with clock speed of 1.1GHz. It lacks in performance which scores 2359 points tested in PC mark 7. The performance is poor due to its processor, memory and hard disk. The RAM 4GB also offers poor performance due to its execution in single channel mode. The Toshiba specification is limited that offers some thermal issues. The R50 isn’t thick or heavy enough to be irritating when carried around, which is exactly what we’re after on a mid-range business notebook. Smaller machines are available, but laptops such as the Dell Latitude 13 or the Asus Zenbook UX303apple cinema hd display netzteil are more expensive and miss out on certain features, like optical drives and numberpads. It is opted for doing small task. When the load is heavy, a sound come from the processor which dictates the temperature is utilized at maximum level. The keyboard and base stays cool. The optical drive on left hand side ejects the heats through vent on right edge proves little hotter.

This business notebook isn’t exactly a looker. The black plastic on the lid and around the keyboard has a plain lined pattern, and the keyboard and trackpad are both black. The only concession to style is the metallic Toshibahp probook 450 g0 netzteil logo but, even then, this machine doesn’t stand out.The Toshiba employs four cell batteries which last battery for six hours and three minutes with 40% screen brightness. It has reasonable durability. And 32% of battery can be saved for two hours of usage. It rivals offers more features than this. The budget tells when it comes to the screen. It’s a 15.6in panel but it’s got a bottom-dollar resolution of 1,366 x 768, which limits how many windows can be comfortably used at the same time. We like the matte finish - a boon in the office - but it’s not a touchscreen.

Surprisingly, the R50apple cinema hd display power adapter 90w has a reasonable keyboard. The keys are easy to press/ navigate the screen. The keyboard is consistent. The typing actions are also good with improved hardwarelenovo m72e power supply. The trackpad is smooth and fast responsive surface. It’s not got good quality, either. The colour temperature is too cold and the Delta E is too wayward - at an awful average of 8.18 - which means that colours aren’t accurate, which puts paid to hopes of any demanding colour work. The contrast of 231:1 is just as poor, and it means that black levels aren’t deep enough and that colours throughout are pale and washed-out.

The Toshiba screen’s only redeeming feature is its 233 nit brightness level, which is adequate for basic work and web browsing. In fact, that’s all this screen is good for - it’s simply not got the resolution or quality to handle anything more than basic tasks. The speakers aren’t up to muster. There’s only enough volume to sate the smallest of home offices, and there’s no bass to speak of - just a muddied mid-range that’s given the smallest of boosts by the occasional low note. The top-end is weak and tinny.
