Highlight Find Results

Visual Studio 2010 and older

Highlight the results of the current IDE find operation in all files—in text editor and output windows.

Press Esc to clear the highlighting.

Access

Enable highlighting in the options dialog of Visual Assist.

Keyboard Access

Assign a shortcut to VAssistX.FindSelected to highlight instances of the word under the caret, without opening the Find dialog.

Highlight Color

Select the highlight color in the options dialog of the IDE.

Visual C++ 6.0

Highlight Find Results is not available.
