VMware安装ubuntu 10.10 cdrom没有图形界面

安装完成后开机进入tty1,原因是没有安装ubuntu-desktop

sudo apt-get install Ubuntu-desktop

要安装ubuntu-desktop首先要更新源，否则找不到（E: Unable to locate package Ubuntu-desktop）

sudo apt-get update

由于ubuntu 10.10 非长期支持版（可能是这个原因），执行上述命令会出现如下错误：(maverick为ubuntu 10.10 的版本名，即找不到这个网址，说明已经不存在）

总之，按以下步骤：
- 修改/etc/apt/sources.list 文件
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install Ubuntu-desktop（要很久）
- sudo startx
就可以进入图形界面了。

sudo passwd root
