将免安装版解压到目录C:\mysql-5.1.55-win32
将my-medium.ini拷贝一份修改文件名为my.ini


修改my.ini配置,符合当前的运行环境
主要内容如下

设置环境变量
MYSQL_HOME=C:\mysql-5.1.55-win32
在环境变量path后面里添加;%MYSQL_HOME%\bin,这样就可以再cmd里面直接运行mysql命令


安装服务
mysqld install MySQL --defaults-file="C:\mysql-5.1.55-win32\my.ini"
如果看到执行结果如下
Service successfully installed.
那么说明服务安装成功,在本地服务里面,能找到mysql这个服务


修改root账号
刚安装完成时root账号默认密码为空,此时可以将密码修改为指定的密码。如:123456
    c:>mysql –uroot
    mysql>show databases;
    mysql>use mysql;
    mysql>UPDATE user SET password=PASSWORD("123456") WHERE user='root';
    mysql>FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
    mysql>QUIT
    

使用sqlyog连接mysql,进行管理,比如创建数据库,创建表,查询、修改数据等。
