 DockerCon 2015大会于6月22在美国旧金山揭幕，大会上容器技术的行业巨头Docker与Linux基金会 宣布联合推出了开放容器项目Open Container Project, OCP，linux 基金会的执行董事Zemlin在 OSCON上的主题报告中说，因为容易将它与Open Compute Project混淆，所以Open Container Project目前已更名为Open Container Initiative , OCI。
