iphone configuration utility 证书管理工具

iphone configuration utility 是苹果提供的一个管理工具，目前在官网已经没有下载。

根据网上的资料，它被移除掉是因为部分功能已经无法使用。

As of iOS 8 IPCU can no longer communicate with Devices. Apple ceased development on the product. You must use a Mac with Xcode to view console logs and other methods. It was very unfortunate to see it go as the distributed nature of PC’s over Mac’s allowed many large organizations to grab device console logs much easier with IPCU if they didn’t have a distributed Mac/OS X environment. Now that process is no more.

iCPU is no longer supported by Apple (since a long time)
The functionality of creating a profile (most settings like access to wifi , vpn etc) can be done in Apple Configurator.

Apple Configurator replaces iPhone Configuration Utility. With the the release of iOS 8, iPhone Configuration Utility is no longer supported or available for download.

To create or install an iOS configuration profile, use Apple Configurator or a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution such as Profile Manager (included with OS X Server).

The ability to view the iOS console log (previously available in iPhone Configuration Utility) is a feature of the Xcode development tool and third-party applications.
