Acceptance

The topic of my group is acceptance. Myteammates are Gaoji,Jialinlin,Zhangqi,Xiahuiting and Chenchen. I will not dareto share our ideas with you without the support of them. So, please give mypartners big round of applause.

In order to concretely convey ouropinions, three questions will be discussed. The first one is "Do you careabout what other people think of you". The next is "which one do youperfer among physical standards, mental standards and emotional standards bywhich people accept you". The last one is "what would you do if youare not accepted by the people around you".

It is interesting that everyone answeredyes when they confronted the first question "Do you care about what otherpeople think of you". So the question is why. Because in the course ofhistory, Mankind has always been social animals. We get resources forlivelihoods through cooperation with each other. Those men of good reputationcan win for themselves a better life by involved in more profitable collaborations.It is still the case that we long for the acceptance of others which means moreresources and opportunities.

As for the second question, none of mypartners denies the importance of appearance by which we are judged directly.Actually, there is no doubt that one's beauty may contribute to a series ofprivileges that can make his life more convenient. But what we look like cannotlast forever, what makes us plump is what we think and what we act. So goodpersonalities such as being   confident,humorous play a important role in making us more popular.

What would you do if you are notaccepted by the people around you. Well it depends. Considering the fact thatfew of our friends may last a lifetime, we have no needs to care too much aboutwhat the acquaintances says. However, self-reflection is necessary if thecriticism comes from the people that we trust.

As far as I am concerned, due to theburden of life, everyone is busy fighting for his own future. Especially theawareness of the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit ofhappiness, no one ‘s gonna waste a second on others. Attention is taken inpassing .A smile is not just for you. Cheering up is temporary. You hope forspotlight but there is no audience.

So it doesn’t make any sense to careabout what others think of you except for our parents and loved ones. What weshould do is to read more ,to experience more , so as to enrich ourselves andto be a better man.
