“上大号”怎么说

 

吃喝拉撒睡是人之本能，虽然“大便”上不得台面，可是谁也离不
了。今天我们就来看看“解大便”怎么说。

“解大便” 一般是用 to make（或 have）a bowel movement 或to take a shit。

如果看病，医生常问：“Do you have regular bowel movement？（大便正常吗？）”这个表达很斯文，就是“大肠在转动”。

此外，还有其他的说法：to defecate = to discharge excrement（或 feces）= to take feces （或 faeces）。
例如：
The patient needs to take a shit.（=to make a bowel movement）


以前还讲过一个片语take a dump，就是“上大号”的意思：

Would you mind closing the door? I'm trying to take a dump here.

你可不可以把门关起来啊？我正在上大号。

但是“大便检查”是叫做 stool exam，因为 stool 也是一种化验的样品。
例如：

The doctor has to exam his stool.
医生要检查他的大便。
