secure CRT can't connects to Ubuntu and Ubuntu can't connets to Internet

1. not correct setting on VMWare 'edit/virtual network editor'

if sercure CRT or cute ftp can't connets to ubuntu, check 'edit/virtual network editor' of VMWare under the net configuation of Ubuntu possibly correct.

select VMnet0, Bridged. 

Bridged to the netcard Windows using.

netcards of PC can't be under VMnet1 or VMnet8. it must be under VMnet0.

2. Ubuntu can't connect to Internet

if network configuation is correct very possible, and connection of secure CRT or cute ftp to Ubuntu is normal, check nameserver(static ip).

/etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/head and /etc/resolv.conf

try a new nameserver, such as:

nameserver 202.96.128.86

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
