SharePoint2010 IT Professional - Content Deployment

SharePoint 2010有一个功能是Content Deployment，主要可以实现将源端网站集内容部署到目的端网站集，那Content Deployment具体能够支持的情况如何？要怎么设置数据同步呢？

 

Content Deployment主要是一个One Way的过程，Content从源端Site Collection部署到目的端Site Collection。不支持部署content从源端到目的端再从目的端到源端这种往返同步机制。

 

Content Deployment部署顾名思义只支持Content，包括Web Page、Library、list、和一些Page使用的资源文件。不支持deploy assembly、Feature和Configuration等数据。

 

下面我们来看下在SharePoint中Content Deployment功能是如何应用的：

1. 在不同的两个Web Application下分别创建两个site collection：SC1和SC2；
2. 登录SharePoint Central Administration-> Greneral Application Settings-> Content Deployment-> Configure content deployment；

3. 在弹出的编辑页面中选择"Accept incoming content deployment jobs" radio button，点击OK，开启允许设置Content Deployment Job；

4. 返回上一级设置页面，点击Configure content deployment paths and jobs，进入job设置页面；

5. 点击New Path设置源端和目的端网站集匹配关系，先选择源端Web  Application和Site Collection；

6. 填写目的端网站集所在的SharePoint Central Administration URL、用户名和密码，点击Connect，连接成功后，在读出的web Application和site Collection中选择目的端网站集，点击OK保存；

7. 点击New Job创建此Path的Job，可以根据需要同时设置Schedule定期部署Content；

8. 登录源端网站集，点击Library上传file，在源端添加数据；

9. 此时回到Content Deployment页面，选择刚创建的Job在下来菜单中点击Run Now执行deployment job；

10. Job执行完成后，打开目的端网站集查看，content deployment成功，配置完成。

 

Note：Content Deployment Path的两端不能是Blank Site Template，否则会不成功。
