Day 2 of traveling

Day 2 of traveling 3/30/2016  Las Vegas

       When I got up in the morning , it was already 10 AM .The weather in Utah is nice : blue sky and endless desert, like Tibet.The parking lot was empty. People started their drive early.That is the American  life style:people spent most of time on car,traveling from a city to another.When they are tired, they  found a hotel near the road.every a hour  drive ,there should be a service area ,which can provide drivers an accomodation including food ,car washing and lodging,etc .Along with that ,the motel --"motor hetel "--is becaming  culture, which can be found in movie or music. One of my favorite  songs is "Hotel Califonia" from Eagles.

      After I had my breakfast in hotel, I began my new journey ,aiming for Las Vegas.Along the I-70,I need to drive aonther 4 hours if there is no traffic.Luckily ,the road is not so busy,and I drove at 80 mph,which is the highest speed I had never experienced before(I just got my license 3 days ago).Although the scene is not so bad--the same endless colorful mountains with  different shape as Corolado,the excitement of driving has passed after the 12-hour long drive the night.All I can feel is the pain on the back.Hopefully ,I will be in Las Vegas .When I came to the border of Nevada,the sight along the road looks changed,the color of the mountain become red, and less green because it iis dry and hot ,not all trees can survive,only bunches of  bushes were dotted on the desert.Sometimes,some cacti were shown ,standing high above the bushes,waving his hands to me .I know it is a symbol of welcome to Las Vegas.When being close to the city, more and more car merged into the road,and the traffic is a little bit busy.I slow down,and follow my GPS carefully ,in case of missing the exit.At the ramp,I almost hit the median because of the sharp curve.I tried my best to turn my steering wheel back to the road.Finally I  succeeded to be in the downtown of Las Vegas.The street is clean ,and every ads on the board along the road are about Casino and attractive and blonde girls,which are the favorite of most gentlemen. Becaus it off season,I can easily find a cheap hotel in downtown.The one I chose is Plaza in the Main Street.wihout any exception,the first floor is casino,and my room is 1052,which can enable me to see the city from bird eyeview.another main reason for me to choose the hotel is it is close to Golden Nugget,the famous site -- the must-be go place: free music show in open air,lots of bars and stripe clubs.But that is my first priority.I should fill my stamoch first,and a buffet is best.Following my GPS ,I went to the second floor of Nugget and found what I want.After I finished,more and more tourists came in for dinner and a little crowded.

   Coming out from the buffet,I  step into fremont street.There are so many people in the street:some watching the performance of drumer,some observing the live painting ,others just hanging  out .When I steped to Fremont Street Experience ,a stage was standing the middle and a pair of host was introducing their activity tonight.It is like an ads or demo to attact people. But that show has  shocked me :four hot girls were dancing on the stage ,with less clothing on.With the music ,the audiences began to follow the step  with dancers.Some even wanted to compete with the girls on the stage from their face.But the fantastic show is band nearby.They are blacks and both are drumers.They were addictedto  their performance ,and not being bothered by the people who sent money to their box.The amazing thing is the array of  drum, which are made from plastic bucket--maybe they got them from the trash.Althouth the intrument is not professional ,they perfomance is better than the professional ones.That is why people like to give their money.When the night was coming ,the big screen on the dome begin to shine ,a shining show was ready.But I have to leave because of the task of tomorrow, although my legs were not willing to go.  Bye Las Vegas.
