最新的Kylix截屏画面

Scotts Valley, CA,2000-6-22   - Inprise/Borland 公布了Kylix最新Building的KDE(the K Desktop Environment)下的四幅截屏画面。Kylix是Inprise/Borland 的内部项目代码，该项目将把Delphi与C++ Builder带向Linux平台。该产品第一版的产品名称还未确定，但它本质上是Delphi for Linux，跟着就会有该产品的C++ Builder版。发布日期还未确定。

简言之，Kylix要为Linux所做的就是Delphi已为Windows所做的。另外—更重要的是—它将成为一个跨平台的工具，该工具使得可以很容易地生成可以在Windows，Linux或者两者下能运行应用程序。大多数应用程序，只要不使用Windows特别的调用，如Win32API,就只需要在另一个平台上重新编译一次便可运行。
